Howard will sit out vs Celtics on Wednesday

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard will attempt to treat the herniated disk in his lower back with rest and rehabilitation for the next 10-14 days and then be re-evaluated, a source familiar with Howard's condition told ESPN The Magazine.

This means Howard won't be suiting up to face the Celtics at the Garden this Wednesday. So, that adds another winnable game for the C's down this final stretch. However, as we saw against the Raptors, that doesn't always guarantee a win. Plus the Orlando game is on a second night of a back-to-back.

Remaining on Boston's schedule are the Bobcats (tonight), Knicks, Magic, Hawks, Heat and Bucks.
