The Big Leprechaun?

According to Tim Potvak at NBA Fanhouse, two sources close to center Shaquille O'Neal say the big fella has been aggressively lobbying the Celtics for a spot on their team.

"Although O'Neal was unavailable for comment Friday, two sources close to him confirmed his continued interest in the Celtics, even though they currently have no room, or exceptions, under the salary cap to pay him beyond the NBA veteran's minimum of $1.35 million."

When Perkins returns from injury, the Celtics 5 man big man-rotation would be KG, Glen Davis, the 2 O'Neals and Kendrick.  No word on whether their jerseys would read "S. O'Neal" and "J. O'Neal" (doubtful, unfortunately).
