Gordon Hayward's foot MRI comes back clean, but still out for tonight's game

Some mild good news on the injury front as an MRI on Gordon Hayward's left foot didn't show any issues. I say "mild" good news, because the fact that Hayward's foot has been bothering him for a couple months now still is concerning.

An MRI result for Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward's left foot came back clean, coach Brad Stevens told reporters Friday.

Stevens said Wednesday that Hayward has been dealing with lingering foot soreness since before injuring his hand in November.

Marcus Smart will also miss another game tonight due to his eye infection.
