It took nine games, but Gordon Hayward's season-first lob finish is history

It took nine games to get it done, but Gordon Hayward finished his first genuine lob of the regular season, and he (and his left leg) passed the test. And so did we.

We needed this one out of the way. This was a similar play to the one at the start of last season when Hayward went for the finish on a lob pass - crashed to the floor - and didn't get up.

Boston's 102-101 loss to the Pacers was a nail-biter, but no more so than fans cringing with Terry Rozier's pass in the air and Gordon going for it. He landed solely on his previously-injured left leg and didn't miss a beat - even though our hearts may have done just that!
