Cs officially sign Robert Williams ahead of Summer League debut

"Boo Butt" Williams is officially a Boston Celtic, despite his rough start.

Robert Williams, as he is more commonly called, the Celtics' 27th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, has officially signed a deal with the team ahead of their Summer League debut game this evening, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg.

The former Texas A & M big man had something of an undesirable beginning to his time in green, both missing his debut conference call the morning after the draft, and his flight to Summer League practice earlier this week.

However, with word the Celts are going to go out of their way to provide the young man with some structure, hopefully we can all breathe a little easier, as he continues to say all the right things and is looking good on-court.

You can check out Williams and the rest of the Summer League crew tonight, this Friday, July 6th at 7:30 EST as they take on the Philadelphia 76ers Summer League team. Most Summer League games can be seen on ESPN 3.
