Isaiah Thomas releases a statement on his sister's passing



Four days after the tragic passing of his younger sister, Chyna, Isaiah Thomas releases his first public statement:


That really puts a lot of things into perspective. Isaiah hasn't spoken with the media all week, and to my knowledge this is his first public comments on the tragedy that happened last Saturday. It's certainly had an effect on Thomas and the entire Celtics organization, even the fans.

Losing a couple of games in the playoffs doesn't really seem very important in the grand scheme of things when something like this happens. All the best to Isaiah and his family as they mourn their loss.
