Boston beats the Hornets 98-93

The Celtics had to scratch and claw their way out of this one after the thriller at home against the Warriors. Boston started strong but the Hornets picked it up and controlled the game until the third quarter when Boston poured it on halfway through the third quarter. Charlotte came back and even took a lead in the fourth quarter, but Boston wasn't letting this one get away winning 98-93.

For Boston, Isaiah Thomas had a hell of a game with 21 points and 13 assists, Avery Bradley had 23 points and Jae Crowder had 16 points and seven rebounds.

For Charlotte, Nicolas Batum had 21 points and eight rebounds, UConn alum Kemba Walker had 16 points and six rebounds and Jeremy Lin had 14 points and five rebounds.

Oh, and rookie Frank Kaminsky, aka that guy that Michael Jordan HAD to have instead of a ton of draft picks, scored three points making his only shot and pulled in six rebounds.

Boston's next game is Tuesday against LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
