Preseason Game 6: No name 76ers demolished by Boston 111-91

The Celtics took on a 76ers team tonight in Philadelphia playing with heavy hearts due to the death of draft pick Joel Embiid's brother Arthur.

To make matters worse, as a result of Nerlens Noel's upper respiratory infection, Philadelphia's starting five combined to average 35.4 ppg last season and consisted of:

Hollis Thompson
Brandon Davies
Henry Sims
Elliot Williams
Tony Wroten

The C's went into the half leading 65-44.

Jared Sullinger had 10 and 3 and Avery Bradley continued his torrid three point shooting in the preseason going 6-8 in the first 24 minutes.

Jeff Green's numbers, in in the first half of his second game back, looked good on paper (5-10 11 pts) but he forced the issue on numerous occasions and looked as though he's hearing the rumblings about Evan Turner potentially replacing him in the starting lineup this season.

On the bright side, Green did have this nice flush in in transition early in the game

Speaking of Turner, other than that great dime to Green from the previous link, he had his worst half of this preseason committing an inexcusable six turnovers while running the PG position.

The 76ers uninspired played continued in the second half as Kelly Olynyk finished with 14 points eight rebounds and four assists in the 111-91 win.
