Undrafted rookie point guard Phil Pressey injured his left ankle late in the 4th quarter of Wednesday night's loss to the Toronto Raptors. Pressey has been somewhat of a surprise so far for the Boston Celtics, averaging five PPG, four APG and three RPG.
Here is the report today on Pressey:
#celtics HC Brad Stevens said Pressey did not practice today, out for Sunday's game vs #timberwolvesI have been pushing for Pressey to earn big minutes at the point for a while now. Hopefully this is just a precaution to make sure he is healthy for the season. The Celts will need a true lead guard more than ever come the start of the season with Rajon Rondo still rehabbing a torn ACL.
