Yesterday after Greg Stiemsma's first career NBA start, CelticsLife.com writer Jesse Dampolo tweeted the following message which served as inspiration for today's video, the Greg Stiemsma Pretty Fly for a White Guy Mix.

"Semih Erden had 8pts, 3reb, 1blk, in his first career NBA start. Stiemsma with 13pts, 7reb, 2blk. #PrettyFlyForAWhiteGuy #CELTICS"
The video highlights some of Stiemsma's  shining moments from the 2011-2012 preseason games against the Raptors, as well as his 6-block NBA debut against the Hornets and his first career NBA start against the Wizards, which included the 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks that Jesse mentioned above. Stiemsma is currently 2nd in the NBA in blocks per game, trailing DeAndre Jordan by 0.75 blocks per game and leading Dwight Howard by 0.33.

I'd also like to give special thanks to some of the former white Celtics players who make cameos in this video as Greg's back-up dancers -- Semih Erden, Luke Harangody, Troy Murphy, and of course Brian Scalabrine. Thanks guys!

WOW! I wish Greg Stiemsma becomes one of the best centers in the league.
And I hope Danny Ainge does not trade him!

Yes, mostly twisted. But it's a like a music video so he needed some back up dancers, and who better than some pretty fly token white guys who used to play for the Celtics?

Can we all agree he deserves the minutes Wilcox is getting when JO gets back. Another unsung hero last night was Avery Bradley. His offense is horrid, but he could be the best defensive guard in the game with more minutes & experience.
