Draft Profile: Kevin Anderson, Isaiah Thomas, Corey Stokes

Next up in our draft profile series is a trio of players who are scheduled for workouts with the Celtics.  All 3 are not expected to be drafted but I wouldn't rule out Danny using the 55th on one if he impresses enough in the workouts.  First up is Kevin Anderson who is scheduled to visit Boston on June 7.

Anderson, a senior out of Richmond wasn't invited to the draft combine so there aren't the detailed measurements that we have for many of the potential draftees.  He is a 6' 0" point guard. who averaged 16.6 points per game shooting 44% from 2 point range and 41% from beyond the arc in his senior season.  He is ranked 55th in the draft among seniors.

In 2009-10 he was named 2010 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and First-Team All Atlantic 10. He entered his name into the draft last year but withdrew and finished out his senior year with the Spiders. He was named First-Team All-Atlantic 10 for the 2nd-straight season and was MVP of 2011 Atlantic 10 Tournament.

Shaquille O'Neal To Retire.

Today is a sad day in the history of the NBA. One of the league's best players, most entertaining characters, and one of the most dominant players to ever compete... is gone. Shaq has announced himself VIA Twitter that he is done. Congrats on a great career Shaquille, can't wait to see what you do next.

Here's Shaq's video:

KG gets very serious about cereal with Peyton Manning

Pretty funny commercial. Why is KG on a webcam with like five different bowls of cereal beside him?

Green Target: Getting Wilder, Bigger, Younger

The main reason why we are not leading the NBA Finals one game to nothing against the Dallas Mavericks is called bench. Or maybe I would rather say lack of bench. After Danny's childish interference in the middle of the season to alleviate some mid life crisis and trade half of our role players, we were left with a chaotic mess to deal with during the rest of the season.

It is well known that Doc needs time trusting his bench players, in particular his young ones. It is hard to imagine how he would change his modus operandi in the middle of the season. And we all know Jeff Green had big shoes to fill and they were not meant to be his this year. The lack of confidence in the bench (anybody can think about better WTHHT candidates than Murphy, Arroyo and Pavlovic?) led to excessive minutes for the Big 4. Remember, Ray Allen played 40 minutes per night at almost 36 years of age. No matter how fit you are and how good your conditioning is if your coach is going to treat you as if you were 20.

In other words: we need legs, length and scoring from the bench. These words also refer to Al Thornton, DeAndre Jordan and Jamal Crawford.
