Sure glad Danny didn't waste that precious roster spot on Leon Powe. We definitely couldn't use his rebounding and toughness right? As I have been saying since before the season, Giddens wishes he was as good as Gerald Green and would either be traded as a contract filler or released after the deadline. This injury does nothing to change his value. No one wants him for his play. Time to start looking for a tattoo remover (unless there's a European team nicknamed the "Celtics").
The Celtics recalled J.R. Giddens from the Maine Red Claws, their NBA D-League affiliate, the team announced on Friday.The recall is procedural, according to multiple reports. Giddens recently injured the meniscus in his left knee and is scheduled for surgery.
