Celtics have reportedly made trade offer to Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo
According to The Ringer's Bill Simmons, the Boston Celtics in the past week made a trade offer to the Milwaukee Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo. While the Celtics technically could fit Giannis onto their cap sheet without trading Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown, even if the Bucks were willing to do a deal like that, I don't see a possibility that the Celtics would throw out a roster with three players making around $200 million a year, since it would be near impossible to fill out the rest of the rotation, especially considering you would have traded all your young players making little money and future draft picks.

You could argue, "But those picks will be late firsts?" but that is a shortsighted view. A lot can happen in a few years, especially injuries. You don't want to trade for Giannis and let' say he gets hurt, and then you have no more assets to add to Tatum or rebuild.
A Giannis trade is expected to happen before the NBA Draft, which is now just nine days away.
