Kristaps Porzingis hoping to play tonight despite torn medial retinaculum
Kristaps Porzingis is officially listed as "questionable" to play tonight in Game 3, but according to Shams Charania he's going to see in warm-ups if he can potentially give it a go.
It was determined that Porzingis suffered a "torn medial retinaculum allowing dislocation of the posterior tibialis tendon" in Game 2. The Celtics surprisingly let Kristaps continue to play for several minutes despite a noticeable limp in Sunday's win. After the game head coach Joe Mazzulla dismissed the injury as nothing majior, but is now saying it's a "serious injury."“He is questionable tonight, I think there’s some hope that he’s going to be able to warm up and then see if he can play… He want’s to play badly”@ShamsCharania on Kristaps Porzingis’ leg injury pic.twitter.com/6KqW2Wk5PT
