Celtics Reserves Hold on For a 101-100 Win Over Sacramento

The Boston Celtics pulled out a tight victory over the Sacramento Kings Friday night as the bench unit found a way to get it done in crunch time.

With a 12-point lead entering the final quarter, Joe Mazzulla pulled the starters for the rest of the game, allowing the Kings to get back in it.

Xavier Tillman got to play hero for the C's, as his floater with 7 seconds left gave Boston the victory.
It was far from the prettiest game of the season on the offensive end, but the Celtic defense gave the Kings fits for most of the evening.

Despite Jayson Tatum and Sam Hauser combining to shoot 6-33 from the floor, the C's got just enough from the other guys to get an ugly win.

The duo of Kristaps Porzingis (20 points, 11 rebounds) and Payton Pritchard (21 points, 5/10 3PT) provided a great spark for the C's as both had extremely efficient games. What a funky game. This extremely eventful contest ended with the good guys on top, moving to 61-16 on the season.

Boston has just 5 games remaining in the regular season, and none of them will matter, as they have already clinched the NBA's best record.

The Celtics next game will be Sunday afternoon against Portland. Go Celtics!
