Celtics Cruise to an Easy 124-107 Win Over Portland
The Boston Celtics made it look easy against the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday night, as the C's moved to 62-16 following a 124-107 victory.
Boston's 62nd win of the season matches the 62 wins they had in 2008-09 and only trails the 2007-08 team for the most wins by a Celtics team since 1986.
35-3 is now the home record for the 2023-24 Celtics, as Boston will play three of their remaining four games at TD Garden. Jaylen Brown was outstanding in this game, as he controlled the pace and flow of the action from the jump. JB finished Sunday's contest with 26 points and 4 rebounds on 10/17 shooting.
Payton Pritchard continued his stellar play of late. He has now scored in double figures in 12 of the last 16 games. Payton concluded his night with 20 points and 8 assists in 26 minutes.
Boston had seven players score at least 9 points in the game, as they continue to show off their tremendous balance and team cohesion.
Even though Sunday's game meant nothing as the standings are concerned, Jaylen Brown entered his name into a pretty exclusive Celtics club.Big 4th quarter...Celtics win by 17...they jump back to the 4th spot on this all-time list... pic.twitter.com/vXtDR62xzL

He’s the 15th man to score 10,000 as a Boston Celtic.
Turning 27 last October, he's the 61st in NBA history to reach 10,000 at his age. pic.twitter.com/p9iFUqTU0T
