Video: Caitlin Clark breaks women's basketball all-time scoring record

Iowa's Caitlin Clark connected on a 3-pointer from way downtown to become the new all-time scorer in women's college basketball history. Clark in her 4th year has bucked the trend of her contemporaries by staying at one school for the entirety of her college career. I can definitely see how she gets some Larry Bird comparisons with how she plays the game. Congrats to Clark.

The all-time NCAA basketball scoring record has been held by Pete Maravich for over fifty years. Clark trails Pistol Pete by just over 100 points. Clark finished the first quarter of tonight's record breaking game with 23 points, so it might not take long for this next record to fall too.
