Tatum agrees with Hayward assessment on why stacked 2019 Celtics busted
Former Celtics forward Gordon Hayward was quite candid and honest on the latest episode of Paul George's Podcast P show in answering questions over 85 minutes. When asked why the stacked 2019 team didn't work out, Hayward said because there were too many agendas, too many players who neededed the one ball. Winning wasn't the main agenda despite all the team meetings.
Current Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum agrees, stating that that "sh#t was terrible," and the talented players failed to "mesh."
Gordon Hayward said the ‘19 Cs were not aligned & focused on winning. On Tuesday, Jayson Tatum acknowledged that Hayward was right.
