Kristaps Porzingis expects to return on Friday

After getting bounced from the NBA In-Season Tournament on Monday the Celtics will return to action on Friday when they host the New York Knicks at the TD Garden in Boston. According to Kristaps Porzingis he plans to make his return to the court then as well.

Kristaps Porzingis said he believes he’s ready to return. He said he went through a full practice today and got some scrimmaging in too.

Celtics starters played 133 minutes together over Boston’s first 10 games (+112 in that span). Only 58 minutes in three appearances since.

Keep in mind that the final decision on whether Porzingis returns on Friday will be up to the Celtics.
