Celtics expected to be active in trade market
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize the Celtics could use more quality depth. With the NBA trade deadline just over two months away expect to start hearing more noise about possible Celtics trades. Shams Charania says he expects the Celtics to be active. Once the New Year hits expect to hear some actual names.
The Celtics are limited in what they can trade since they don't have the matching contracts on their bench. They have Pritchard's $10 million per deal and a $6 million TPE, but the two can't be combined. Stevens will undoubtedly make some sort of deal. The question will be whether the player they add will be good enough to contribute in the playoffs for the Celtics."I expect the Celtics to be active in the trade market as we get closer to February, to try to see if they can beef up their bench rotation."@ShamsCharania's biggest concern for the Celtics is late game execution, what kind of player are they missing? 🤔
