Bill Simmons talks with Ryan Russillo about the Celtics future and whether it's time to break up the Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combo. Simmons floats a Jaylen Brown trade to the Blazers for Anfernee Simons and the #3 pick. If the Celtics were to trade Brown, I think they could get more than Simons and a pick, especially considering what Utah got for Gobert and Mitchell and what Brooklyn got for an older Durant.

Simmons also talks about Joe Mazzulla's imminent future in Boston and whether he will be retained.

The fall of the Celtics defense in 2023 is just dumbfounding. Kudos to Miami for knowing exactly how to attack a disconnected, poorly coached half-asleep team. This is embarrassing. Oh and the timeout came 4 plays too late. Should be a fun pod tonight!
