Celtics embarrass themselves with 128 to 102 blowout loss to Heat in Game 3
The Celtics responded to losing the forst two games of the Eastern Conference Finals to the #8 seed, by putting up a pathetic effort in the 1st half of Game 3. A first half which TNT analyst described as, "I’m embarrassed for the Celtics. That display of basketball, no mental toughness They made the refs mad because they complain on every single call. The lack of mental toughness, it’s embarrassing That was embarrassing as a Celtics fan.”
Then the Celtics responded to that embarrassment by getting outscored by another 15 in the 3rd quarter to lead head coach Joe Mazzulla to waive the white flag and clear the bench for the entire 4th quarter. The final score was Heat 128, Celtics 102. Boston now faces the task of trying to become the first NBA team ever to comeback and win a series after going down 3-0.
Well Jaylen Brown called out Celtics fans prior to Game 7 against Philly. Are we allowed to call him out too yet?

Celtics finally showing some consistency. Consistently giving up 30 points a quarter on defense.

#Celtics lose to the #Heat 128-102 in the most embarrassing performance I personally seen from this team in 13 years. Game 4 is Tuesday.

Joe Mazzulla: “I just didn’t have them ready to play.” When asked again, he reiterated that, saying it’s his fault and that it’s on his team to keep this team together.

In my 44 years of being associated with the NBA I never thought I’d see a Boston Celtics team, a franchise with 17 Championships, quit. I know Celtics fans all over the world must be disgusted and devastated. The Miami Heat blew them out 128-102 in Game 3.
