Jayson Tatum's 38, Brogdon's 25 guide the Celtics to a 127-109 victory over the Detroit Pistons

It was a great send off for the All-Star weekend festivities as the Celtics cruised to a 127-109 win over Detroit at the Garden on Wednesday night. Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston, pouring in an efficient 38 points on 15/24 shooting, including a season high 24 points in the 3rd quarter to keep Detroit at bay. Tatum finished the game with only a +1, but was helped out by the bench unit, including Malcolm Brogdon, who finished with 25 points and a game high +20. The Celtics, especially a beaten up and bloodied Derrick White, will now get to enjoy 8 days off before a 3 game road trip beginning in Indiana next Thursday. Tatum and Jaylen Brown will also get a nice break, but they will begin their time off in the national spotlight this weekend, as they take part in the All-Star game in Salt Lake City on Sunday. Hopefully this week of recovery can see the Celtics get back to full health, before heading into the final 23 games of the regular season with a 42-17 record and the current #1 overall seed.
