Atlanta Hawks considering Ime Udoka for head coach vacancy
Atlanta fired Nate McMillan this week after the Hawks didn't live up to the high expectations following their 2020/2021 Eastern Conference Finals visit. Ime Udoka has emerged as a candidate for the vacant spot, though former Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder appears to be the front runner.
Udoka was set to be hired by the Nets after their firing of Steve Nash early in the season, but Brooklyn ownership changed course mostly due to the bad PR they were getting. At the time they were in the middle of the Kyrie Irving anti-semitism controversy as well.Among the candidates being considered for the Hawks' coaching vacancy, league sources say, is former Celtics coach Ime Udoka.

Boston officially severed tires with Udoka when they signed Joe Mazzulla to a contract extension and removed the interim tag from his head coach title last week.
