Marcus Smart and Robert Williams listed as questionable for Wednesday's Pelicans game
The Pelicans will be undermanned as well as Zion Williamson is out and Brandon Ingram hasn't played in a month and a half. Robert Williams received his first start of the season last night versus the Bulls. My guess is Williams will sit versus the Pelicans and then play the next night in Brooklyn with Al Horford getting that night off.#NEBHInjuryReport for tomorrow vs. New Orleans:
— Boston Celtics (@celtics) January 10, 2023
Danilo Gallinari (left knee ACL repair) - OUT
Marcus Smart (left knee contusion) - QUESTIONABLE
Robert Williams (left knee injury rehabilitation) - QUESTIONABLE
As for Marcus Smart, it all depends on how his knee is doing. Presumably you'd want him on Thursday to guard Kyrie Irving, but with Kevin Durant now sidelined that game becomes a much easier one (presumably).
