Kendrick Perkins critical of Mazzulla and Tatum following Warriors loss

Celtics analyst Kendrick Perkins was highly critical of Joe Mazzulla's coaching strategy in the team's 123 to 107 loss to the Warriors on Saturday night. Perkins emphasized the "interim" tag in the head coach's title. Unfortunately for Mazzulla he doesn't have a Game 2 or Game 3 coming up to prove he can make playoff adjustments like Perk was challenging him to do.

And whether it was coincidence or not Jayson Tatum's struggles against Golden State continued. Perk brought up a solid point that Tatum's size, strength, and athleticism should be enough to positively affect a game even when his shot isn't hitting.

Tatum will have January 19th circled on his calendar as that will be the last chance he gets to prove to himself that he can excel against the Warriors this regular season. Despite Golden State's uneven play to begin the season they remain a very viable threat to make it out of the Western Conference this spring.
