Celtics somehow lose at home to one of NBA's worst teams

The Celtics are still atop the NBA standings and the Magic are still near the cellar, but on Friday night at the TD Garden, the young Magic got the best of Boston on their way to a 117-109 win. It's the Celtics 3rd loss in their last four games.

The Celtics were at full strength for the first time this season as Al Horford returned to action and Robert Williams made his season debut, but Orlando still shocked the NBA world. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown tallied 31 and 26 points respectively in the losing effort. Somehow the Celtics let Mo Wagner score 25 points and grab 8 rebounds on them in just 23 minutes. Embarassing.

As for Time Lord, he came off the bench and finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and a block in seventeen and a half minutes. The best news regarding the young center was that Williams said his knee felt great after the game.

The Celtics hit on just 11 of their 46 3-point attempts. The Celtics have been thriving on great 3-point shooting. Tonight they died by it. Orlando also owned Boston on the boards. The Celtics will get another crack at the Magic when they host them again on Sunday afternoon.
