Following surgery, Robert Williams' return now 8 to 12 weeks away
Robert Williams has had his "clean up" knee surgery, but the previous time table of a 4 to 6 week return has now been doubled to 8 to 12 weeks. This means that the Celtics will be really thin at the center position until around Thanksgiving at the earliest and possibly until Christmas.#NEBHInjuryReport Robert Williams underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure to remove loose bodies and address swelling in his left knee. Williams is expected to return to basketball activities in 8-12 weeks.

Of course if there is some sort of setback we might not see Time Lord return until the New Year. So good news that the surgery went well, but bad news on the idea of getting close to a full season out of Williams. Here's hoping that once he does finally return, he will remain healthy through the rest of the season and more importantly the playoffs.
