Marcus Smart questionable for Game 1 in Miami
The Boston Celtics will have Robert Williams back without restrictions for the start of the Eastern Conference Finals, but starting point guard Marcus Smart's status is in limbo.
The Heat will likely be without their own starting point guard Kyle Lowry for Game 1. If Smart can't play, Derrick White will be slotted in the starting 5 and he and Payton Pritchard will be called upon to play a lot more minutes.Smart underwent an MRI today on that right foot and the imaging returned clean, sources tell ESPN. There’s hope he’ll be ready for Game 1 and Celtics will see how it feels on Tuesday in Miami. https://t.co/pAruJK3cbN
