Celtics go out fighting, but go out nonetheless; Brooklyn 123, Boston 109 Final
Highlights from the Celtics final night of this 2020-21 season. They gave there all in the playoffs, which is more than you could say often times in the regualr season, but the talent discrepancy between Boston and Brooklyn was just too much.
No Jaylen, no Kemba, and no Time Lord, meant once again the Celtics needed either 50 points from a triple teamed Jayson Tatum or for everything to bounce their way. Neither happened. The offseason starts now.
One bright spot of the playoffs is at least we found out that Romeo Langford is a keeper. Brad saw it too:
Brad Stevens singles out Romeo Langford for praise, says he was "great" tonight and that he impressed Stevens with his play over the past few games, in particular. Said he showed he's got the potential to be a factor going forward.

Kemba Walker on the knee injury that kept him out of the last two games for the Celtics:

"As far as my knee, I thought that would be pretty good this year. You know, just an unfortunate incident that happened in Game 2."
Coach Stevens: "In a lot of ways, it was as hard of a year that any of us have been through. They did nothing but stick together and improve. We didn’t play perfect basketball, but we showed a lot of growth in the last few weeks."
