Highlights: Celtics comeback comes up short, lose to Heat 112-106

The Boston Celtics have left the door open for the Miami Heat to catch up and grab the 3rd seed with their loss on Tuesday. While a high seeding isn't the top goal for the Celtics (health, playing solid basketball, and a an easier 1st round opponent take precedence), the pack is so close between 3 and 6, that you don't want to get too cute and fall to like 5.This loss also likely ends the slim hope of climbing up to the 2 seed.

Jayson Tatum had another solid line with 23 points and 7 rebounds, while Jaylen chimed in with 18 and 10, but his stroke wasn't there as he missed all his 3's (and his lone two free throws). Marcus Smart had an off night and once again wasn't happy with the officiating.

The Celtics face the Nets tomorrow. Kemba will be sitting out as expected. Obviously no Kevin Durant, no Kyrie Irving, no most of the Nets team. If the Celtics had won tonight, I'd say tomorrow would be a classic trap game, but I think the C's will handle business against the Nets.
