Kemba Walker says the break ended up being in his best interest, so he could rest knee
We speculated that the time off would be good for Kemba Walker, a silver lining if you will for this hiatus. Ainge updated us a couple weeks ago and confirmed that Kemba appeared healthy. And now we have confirmation from the man himself. Kemba was quite the ironman during his Charlotte days; he missed a total of six games the past four seasons. This year, Walker has sat out fourteen.
Expect the Celtics to remain cautious with Walker through the remaining eight games of the regular season with the hope that he can play in all the playoff games. Obviously the Celtics need a healthy Kemba to have a chance at Banner 18.
