Video: Antoine Walker says he's grateful that Kemba reached out to him about wearing #8



There are not many jersey number options when you join the Celtics unless you want to wear some weird number like 78. Kemba Walker who wore #15 for Charlotte had to pick a new number in Boston since that one was retired for Tommy Heinsohn decades ago.

Kemba took the unique step of reaching out to Antoine Walker on social media to ask if it was cool if he wore the #8 even though many Celtics had already worn it since 'Toine did. Antoine discusses how he feels grateful for the gesture in the video above with Brian Scalabrine.
