Quarantine Question of the Day: Who wins a HORSE competition between all-time Celtics greats?
This pic alone basically makes this post worthwhile
Unfortunately we will have no recaps or Green Envy's for a while, so figured it might be fun and give people a distraction to debate in the comment section on a different question every day while we are stuck in this new normal.
Who wins a HORSE competition between all-time Celtics greats?
So many options. Also by "greats," you can use that term loosely. Doesn't have to be a Hall of Famer. Just someone that made an All-Star game or who you consider a "great." And assume they are the age they were when they wore Celtics green. At first thought I was going to go with the guy who most are going with on most of these questions, Larry Joe Bird, but then I remembered that Pistol Pete Maravich played for the Celtics.
We also have old-timers like Bob Cousy and Tommy Heinsohn in the mix. Or leading Celtics scorers like John Havlicek or Paul Pierce, though the latter put up a stinker today. In terms of non-superstars maybe a Danny Ainge, Sherman Douglas, Dana Barros, or Eddie House.
Or former Celtics not at the top of fans' favorites like Ray Allen or Kyrie Irving? Pretty sure Marcus Smart takes a lot of trick shots in practice. And Rajon Rondo once almost beat Kevin Durant in the HORSE competition at all-star weekend.
