The reigning All-Star Skills Competition champion cruised into his (possibly temporary) All-Star Saturday Night retirement a little earlier than expected this evening, falling to Indiana Pacers PF Domantas Sabonis in the first round of the Skills Competition. This loss, however, is not without a bit of controversy.
Don't get me wrong, I love JT and was rooting hard for him. Anytime someone pulls on the green and white, I'll root for them no matter what they're doing. That said, I'm happy to see him save his legs to win the Kobe Bryant All-Star Game MVP award tomorrow.

Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo won the event, defeating Sabonis in the final round.
