Kyrie Irving throws half his new team under the bus after back to back losses
New home, same Kyrie |
Losing to the Pistons sucks, but at least we don't have to deal with Kyrie Irving anymore. The Nets were 13-13 the past couple months without him, but he's back, they're losing again (5-9 record when Irving plays), and Irving has people to blame (all not named Kyrie Irving).
Kyrie Irving was asked after tonight’s loss to Philly about this game against a top East opponent showing how much work the Nets still have to do in order to compete at the highest level while waiting for Kevin Durant to return. I'm sure guys like Jarrett Allen and Joe Harris will love this quote. And the other half of the team for that matter. The Celtics will get over their January speed bump. The Nets are stuck with Kyrie. I feel better.
