Ainge says "Tacko Fall is going to have a chance to make the roster;" working on contract
Danny says Tacko is "going to have a chance to make the roster."— CelticsLife.com (@celticslife) July 17, 2019
Lost in the hoopla of the Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter introductions, was the positive declaration by Danny Ainge that Celtics fan favorite Tacko Fall has a legit chance to make the 15 man roster. Kyle Draper asked Danny point blank about Tacko and Ainge responded, "Tacko Fall is going to have a chance to make the roster." So there you have it. Tacko has a few months now to work on his NBA game, but as you can see from his summer league highlights, he has some translatable skills.
Danny Ainge to @Toucherandrich: "We're trying to still get a contract done with Tacko. We haven't signed him yet. I really can't say much more about Tacko than we're just trying to get him in the fold."— Boston.com Celtics News (@BDCCeltics) July 18, 2019
More Ainge: "Hopefully, we can get something done with him."— Boston.com Celtics News (@BDCCeltics) July 18, 2019
And news got even brighter this morning with Ainge saying on Toucher and Rich that they are actively working on a contract with Tacko.
🤞🏼
