Eye on the Draft: Breaking down the "next great NBA point guard" Ja Morant

Odds aren't strong Ja Morant could be wearing Celtics green next season, but there's a chance

The Celtics currently only have a 1.9% chance of getting a draft pick in the 2-4 range via the Kings, but if they did get lucky Ja Morant would definitely be atop Danny Ainge list. Coach Nick breaks down Morant's game in the video below.

The Celtics chances of getting pick #2, #3, or #4 could increase to over 7% if the Kings struggle the rest of the season and the Wolves, Hornets, and Magic pass them in the standings. Even if the Kings just fall one spot back, our odds of one of those picks would double to 3.8%

Note: If the Kings somehow won the lottery and got the #1 pick, the pick would go to the 76ers, all hell would break loose, and the Celtics would get the Philly's pick instead.

Other players the Celtics would be eyeing in the 2-4 range would include R.J. Barrett, Cam Reddish,
Jarrett Culver, and Darius Garland. Of course if the Celtics were lucky enough to get a pick in the 2-4 range it could end up being a centerpiece in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis.
