Three Celtics players score 20+ for first time this season
Monday's 124-117 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans showed more of the immense potential that the Boston Celtics possess this season. While they have struggled a bit more than expected out of the gate, Brad Stevens' squad is still learning to coexist on the court.
The victory against the Pels was an example of this coexistence, as it was the first time three C's players have scored 20+ points this season.
Jayson Tatum contributed 20 points, Kyrie Irving had 26, and Al Horford had a season-high 20 points. The three players shot a combined 49% from the field, 52% from three.
Al Horford, Kyrie Irving, and Jayson Tatum all reached the 20-point mark for Boston tonight, marking the first time this season that three or more Celtics scored 20+ points in the same game

The trio combined for 66 points on 49.0% shooting (10-19 3-PT)
In addition to this, Marcus Morris had 19, and Terry Rozier scored 14. The offense is starting to take shape as Coach Stevens figures out lineups and things like that. With the best defense in the league so far this season, the Celts merely need to figure out their offensive attack. As proven last season, they thrive when there is balanced scoring and everyone gets to participate in the offense.
