Rob Williams with 2 offensive boards, 3 blocks - and finishes a Rob-Lob
Celtics fans have been waiting to see their rookie, Rob Williams, in action in the regular season. It was only seven-minutes worth, but it was worth the look.
Williams made the most of his limited floor time. He only scored two points, but the lone hoop was on a beautiful lob pass from Marcus Smart. Expect to see more Rob-Lobs going forward.

I really really liked the flashes Rob Williams showed tonight.
Blocks, assists, scoring, outboxing inside and defense in general.
I like that kid

Rob also hauled down two boards in the game, and both were of the offensive variety. His three blocks were more than noteworthy. He doesn't just block shots under the hoop, he defends on the perimeter and uses his 7'6"-wingspan to his advantage.

Last night's game was a much-needed breath of fresh air for fans who had become slightly skeptical of this team's potential. But they came through brilliantly last night and showed just how good they can be. When your rookie, end-of-the-bench guy (Rob Williams) can play this well in only seven minutes, things do indeed look bright for our team.
