Listen: Woj thinks Kyrie will re-sign in BOS, but not everyone agrees

There's a lot of ESPN analysts I don't take too seriously, but when it comes to the NBA, when Adrian Wojnarowski talks, I listen.

So, it was reassuring when I recently heard him describe how he believes Kyrie Irving will resign with the Boston Celtics at the end of the season on his most recent edition of the Woj podcast:

"I still would take Boston against the rest of the field. I still think in the end there comes a moment of truth when you look around, and you have to make a decision about somewhere else. And when you really start inspecting the questions that are in almost any other circumstance he would go to, you would say 'Boy, it’s pretty good here.' - I still think it is going to be really hard to walk away from [the Celtics]."

While his guest, Ryen Russillo, is more skeptical, he doesn't seem to have a reason for it.

Sure, Irving is a different dude, as it were, but I believe he'll choose the situation that's best for him, and there isn't going to be one any time soon barring a big surprise out of left field. Coach Brad Stevens has made a point of not talking to Kyrie about his free agency this season, and barring new information to give us (in my case, more) grey hair, I plan on doing the same.
