Eric Bledsoe gets burned by Terry Rozier, memory, internet
Sometimes, the right response - is no response.
"Next question" is probably a phrase Milwaukee Bucks guard Eric - or is it Drew? I forget - Bledsoe will be making more use of in the future. After getting absolutely torched by Terry Rozier on the court in the Boston Celtics 120-106 smackdown of the Milwaukee Bucks in the second meeting of their first-round series of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, Bledsoe either had some peculiar memory issues or was feeling some kind of way when asked about his defensive assignment for much of the night.
— Sports Illustrated (@SInow) April 18, 2018The following post-game exchange then proceeded to go down between Milwaukee Bucks beat reporter Matt Velazquez and Bledsoe:
Reporter: "Terry Rozier has gotten off to a strong start to this series.
No turnovers in 78 min.
How personally do you take that match up?"
No turnovers in 78 min.
How personally do you take that match up?"
Bledsoe: "Who?"
Reporter: "Terry Rozier."
Bledsoe: "I don't know who the fuck that is."
Well, then.
Well, then.
How the hell you miss a guy who not only drops 46 points and nine dimes on you over just two games? Perhaps like this:Terry Rozier through two games:— Tim Bontemps (@TimBontemps) April 18, 2018
46 points, nine assists, no turnovers.
Eric Bledsoe through two games:
21 points, eight assists, six turnovers. https://t.co/eBfh5YLQUl
If it's amnesia or some kind of mental block, well, I hope they keep Bledsoe on Terry for the rest of the series. And if it's pettiness (it is), I hope there's more of it, because it gave us some seriously amazing gems last night to revel in:Eric Bledsoe "doesn't know" who Terry Rozier is...pic.twitter.com/MvqtUkiVpC— Celtics on NBC Sports Boston (@NBCSCeltics) April 18, 2018
