Former Celtic, Avery Bradley, possibly heading to the Spurs
I'll admit it strongly. I love Avery Bradley. I can't write about him without a feeling of sadness. His quiet off-court demeanor, his bull dog defense, coupled with the fact that he got better every year in Boston, all come into play. After getting traded from Boston to Detroit, and then to the Clippers, he may be on the move again.

I was hoping all along that Avery would end up in a near-perfect situation and mentioned San Antonio as a possibility. The Spurs' have one of the very best organizations in the NBA. and they always seem to be in the fight for another NBA Title. Putting Bradley, Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green on the floor at the same time, gives the Spurs a potent trio to deal with Golden State. It currently looks like San Antonio is looking for a first round pick as part of any deal.

Greg Popovich knows talent, and he knows how to win. His teams never seek to tank and always seem to find the right players to keep them in the heat of competition. Avery just seems right for the Spurs, and they for him. We wish this fine young man the best, no matter where he lands.
