Celtics officially sign Jabari Bird to two-way deal

The Boston Celtics continue to round out their roster, officially signing rookie Jabari Bird to their 2nd, and final, two-way contract yesterday:

Players signed to two-way contracts will make $75,000 and if they get called up to the NBA, they will earn the pro-rated rookie minimum which has the potential to earn two-way players more than $200,000.

Although Bird was just officially added to the Celtics roster yesterday the deal was reportedly agreed to a few weeks back. Jabari is a 6'6 shooting guard who graduated Cal-Berkely after his senior season this past year. He played alongside Jaylen Brown in his only collegiate season playing for the Golden Bears.
