Thomas reportedly headed to Boston Sunday to meet with Hayward

The Boston Globe's Adam Himmeslbach reports Isaiah Thomas is travelling to Boston to meet with Boston Celtics' free agency target Gordon Hayward for a Sunday meeting.

According to a league source, Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas is headed to Boston to be part of the Gordon Hayward meeting tomorrow.

The news, part of a series of conflicting reports concerning the timing of Hayward's meetings, is certain to be a crucial date, if correct. Thomas has been involved in recruiting Hayward for several months at least now, so his presence makes sense from a continuity perspective.
