Here's an update on Isaiah Thomas' playing status for game 2 vs. the Chicago Bulls

Following the tragic passing of Isaiah Thomas' 22-year-old sister Chyna, it was unclear whether the all-star point guard would compete in game 1of the playoffs against the Chicago Bulls. Despite his recent loss, Thomas played and led both teams in scoring with 33 points on 10-18 shooting.

After Sunday's loss to Chicago, many wondered whether IT would give it a second go for game 2 in Boston, and it looks like we have our answer.

According to ESPN's Chris Forsberg, Isaiah will play in game 2 and fly home to Washington after.

This Celtics squad is as tight knit as it gets. Although Thomas probably wants to be with his family right now, I'm sure he's receiving a ton of love in the locker room. With all of that being said, expect to see Isaiah in the starting lineup in game 2.

This team plays with a ton of passion night in and night out, and I've got a feeling that they're going to play with a little extra something on Tuesday night.

This is obviously an extremely tough time for Isaiah, he and his family are in our thoughts and prayers.
