A little surprised neither Jaylen Brown nor Terry Rozier will be in the Rising Stars Challenge ... pic.twitter.com/oqho2UTZM3— Ben Rohrbach (@brohrbach) January 25, 2017
Slightly perplexing why Jaylen Brown would turn down the dunk contest. He said he would have accepted an invite to the Rising Stars Challenge, so it's not like he was against going to All-Star Weekend. Maybe with dunkers like Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon taking dunks to a new level, Brown didn't want to put the time in preparing for some new unique dunks to stand a chance in the competition and preferred to spend that time on his overall game. It's a pity. Would have been fun to see Brown in the contest.
