Lebron James is impressed by Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown
Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown is beginning to make a name for himself in the NBA. In last nights close loss to the reigning champion Cleveland Cavaliers, Brown made his first NBA start matched up against the best player on the planet, Lebron James. He held his own against King James, and even earned some respect from last years Finals MVP:

Brown filled the box scored in his first start. He tallied 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals on 8/16 from the field (3/6 from deep). Most of us figured Brown would get into foul trouble early against James, but that was not the case. He played smart and efficiently, and appears to get better each and every time he hits the court. He always seems to have a play that ends up on the highlights, and last night was no exception. He took Lebron to the rack and lucky for James he was able to backpedal out of the way just in time before getting completely posterized:

His solid effort wasn't lost on head coach Brad Stevens, who was also very impressed with Jaylen last night:

Brown is off to a great start this season. Celtics fans are very excited to see how good he can become, and how fast he can get there. If last night is any indication, Brown might be a lot quicker to develop than anybody expected. He passed his trial by fire against the best in the game last night with flying colors. He not only exceeded expectations last night, but he embraced the opportunity he had in front of him:
