I.T. with 29 points, Olynyk and Smart both shine in starts (videos)
Isaiah Thomas is not slowing down, ladies and gentleman! He scored game-high 29 points and it was his 8th straight game with 23+ points. And finally it were the Celtics who got the blowout win. Isaiah also continues his great shooting display from the free throw line as he hit 8/8 versus Knicks and is now 43/44 in last four games. Isaiah is one of just three players in the league that are both in the NBA's top10 for points and assists. Other two? James Harden and Russell Westbrook.
Kelly Olynyk racked up for 19 points, seven boards and three assists in his second game after returning from shoulder injury. Olynyk was pretty confident and hit three 3-pointers as he told media before the game that his shoulder feels stronger than ever. Al Horford is coming back soon but it's a possibility for Brad Stevens to run with Kelly in starting five with Amir Johnson playing off the bench.
Marcus Smart got his first double-double this season as he posted 12 points and 10 dimes along with six rebounds and three steals. It wasn't his best shooting night as he hit only five of 13 shots but he was great at distributing the ball and finding good positions for his teammates. You could tell it's going to be his night when he hit those two 3-pointers in the opening minutes!
