Report: Gerald Green injured, should not miss preseason time
The season is still weeks away, and Boston has already logged the first injury of the year. Jay King of MassLive.com reports Gerald Green has injured his hip flexor:

Thankfully, it seems to be a minor setback for Green, who was reunited with the Celtics over the summer. He is expected to take some time off for rest before resuming practice in the next week, and is unlikely to miss preseason games.
